(English) Fortunately, Zambia has managed to avoid much of the violence and instability of its neighbours in recent years. With rapid economic growth fuelled by its copper industry and Chinese investment, Zambia has worked hard to eliminate the threat of landmines left from regional conflicts of the 1960s and 1990s.
