Mine clearance and battle area clearance in Western Sahara

SafeLane Global deployed 3 x multi task teams (MTTs) and 2 x international technical advisors.

Teams provided mine clearance and battle area clearance (BAC) services by three MTTs deployed east of the Berm throughout Western Sahara.

The teams conducted technical and non-technical surveys, manual mine clearance, BAC and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD).

The client was awarded further funding and so SafeLane Global was able to deliver a further 3 MTTs in Western Sahara.

SafeLane Global deployed to southern Western Sahara in Mijek, which is close to the Algerian border, and established an operational field base to deploy operations out from.  The three MTTs were coordinated and supported by 2 x international technical advisors who provided implementation plans and reporting along with QA/QC and training capacity to the local national MTT personnel.
