Germany
During WWII, 1.5 million tonnes of high explosives were dropped on the territory of the Third Reich by British and American forces; 22,580 tonnes of ordnance was released over Hamburg alone.
Allied bombs had a failure rate estimated at up to 20%; consequently, up to 300,000 tonnes of unexploded aerial ordnance remained across Germany and Austria after the war.
Much of it poses a threat to life and commercial operations to this day.
However, the dangers posed by unexploded ordinance are underestimated. The fact is explosives do not lose potency, the timescale for TNT to break down chemically is measured in millennia for example. Since the end of WWII there have been spontaneous detonations of undiscovered time-delay devices, therefore the requirement for protection from explosive threat in Germany is significant.
SafeLane Global has been at the forefront of the systematic mitigation of this threat in Germany since inception. It operates as an end-to-end service provider, on land and in water, for its governmental and commercial clients. SafeLane Global surveys, searches for, detects, identifies and clears explosive remnants of war, and has the scale, capability and experience to deliver any project.
In Germany, SafeLane Global also offers commercial blasting operations, and a full suite of technical diving services including all diver investigations, in-water welding and underwater concrete work.

Testimonials
Cooperation, support and team work spirit
Mike Mpango, Veterinary Officer in Somalia
"As for the [SafeLane Global] team answering any questions raised, I just give them credit apparently. most especially the Project Manager and Deputy project manager , Project officer, Project support officer and the Acting Operations Officer. Their cooperation, support and team work spirit, has done me a good job in service delivery. With regards to the recruitment exercise, I just regard it to be good, fast and not time consuming, especially if the candidate is ready to immediately undertake the job. The man power executive were extremely supportive and informative, and that's how I was only able to be assessed, recruited and supported online to enter into Somalia, where I had never been before. I dont have additional comments, but just to wish the company success and prosperity.”
