Mine Action
SafeLane was one of the first private companies operating in mine action and has played a formative role in the development of international industry policy and standards. We support humanitarian organisations and governments worldwide, delivering mine action programmes that reduce the impact and risk of explosive hazards to a level where people can live and work safely.
A core part of this work is humanitarian demining. This focuses on the safe removal of landmines and explosive remnants of war to protect civilians, enable humanitarian access, and support recovery in post-conflict environments.
Our mine action capability includes humanitarian demining, mine clearance, landmine clearance, explosive ordnance survey, quality management, risk education, and information management.
SafeLane’s explosive ordnance survey and clearance services form a core part of our mine action capability. They range from risk assessment through to full land release, removing explosive remnants of war that act as a barrier to safe land use and socioeconomic recovery.
Quality Management
SafeLane’s mine action and demining experts provide quality management of third-party operators, ensuring mine action activities meet required standards and client objectives.
EORE
As part of SafeLane’s mine action programmes, relevant and accessible explosive ordnance risk education is delivered to both clients and affected communities.
Information Management Services
Information management underpins effective mine action. SafeLane collects, validates, analyses, and shares accurate data to support learning, oversight, and continuous improvement in clearance operations.
Committed to clearing communities contaminated by explosive hazards through mine action services since 1989.
