Alice Taylor wins again!

Whilst other athletes chose the London Marathon last weekend, Alice Taylor took on a coastal trail marathon in Pembrokeshire. She battled Storm Hannah to come home as first placed lady.

Endurancelife organises epic trail runs across the UK.  As a participant, you can choose to take on anything from a 10K to an ultra marathon.

As Storm Hannah battered the Welsh coast last weekend, SafeLane's Alice Taylor - fearless in the face of any challenge - took on the Pembrokeshire Endurancelife marathon.

Running 27.8 miles, tackling an ascent of over 3,100ft and running against winds that topped 80mph, Alice cruised home as the first placed lady and came 5th overall.

Clearly her Phocle Phitness sessions with Major Comer (retired) have paid off!

Talking about this, her first marathon, Alice said the 17 mile mark was the hardest point for her.  She'd just rounded St. Anne's Head, where the storm force winds had battered all competitors.  But with the love and support of her parents and partner who were there to cheer her on, she dug deep and battled home.

Congratulations Alice from your SafeLane colleagues - you're truly inspirational.
